ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for managing the long-term and short-term strategy for the Foods Business. This role would also entail execution of the strategy by working collaboratively with other functions. She/he leads market research and competitive intelligence gathering and makes recommendations regarding pricing policies.
Formulate the long-term and short-term strategy for the Food business with a strong market perspective
Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required
Own competition insights from a category, customer, service and capabilities dimension
Be an expert in pricing and promotion analytics, baseline modelling, sales forecasting, with good hold of statistical modelling tools like SAS, R, Python, Spark as well as visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, Power BI etc.
Ensure execution of pricing strategy and delivery of expected margin
Understand and challenge pricing decisions, provide support and reporting when testing new developments
Understand pricing elasticity on various products and categories
Work with various teams – Buy, Sell, Business Finance to align, and create process for pricing strategy execution
Drive implementation of key initiatives for growth, customer experience, operational effectiveness and service

Qualifications and Experience:
MBA with 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience in Retail / FMCG domain
