Experience and Qualifications Required
Proven experience of CyberArk PAM in a large, evolving and complex environment including certification
Proven attention to detail and ability to peer review and challenge to enhance service quality and availability
Experience of leading security technologies, or related relevant technologies
Experience and strong understanding of security principles and standards implementations, such as federation (SAML), Web Services (SOAP, REST), Kerberos, oauth etc.
Understanding of the underlying protocols and data used as the basis for the security monitoring service, including: HTTP, HTTPS, SQL, TCP/IP, Active Directory
LDAP skills would be an additional advantage
Competent in UNIX and Windows general configuration and operational activities.
Database and SQL skills preferred
Familiarity with scripting (i.e. shell, perl, etc. with capability to learn new scripting frameworks e.g. AutoIt)
Understanding of highly available application architectures, including network and application load balancing and fail over
Structured and methodical in problem solving
A strong disposition to take responsibility and to lead by example.
Ability to draw on experience to question and challenge existing or proposed solutions.
Analytical skills with an ability to quickly assimilate new information
Strong communication skills and flexible team player. Evidence of being in a position responsible for communicating technical issues to non-technical users. E.g. Formal stakeholder engagement/communications
Banking or Finance related business experience desirable.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or experience.
CISSP or equivalent security certification preferred
Proven experience and longevity in Information Technology supporting complex projects
Significant experience with integration, migration and communication issues among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Broad knowledge of diverse infrastructure technologies, including various distributed server hardware platforms, operating systems, system software and tools.
Broad understanding of the following technologies and their inter-operability (Unix, Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server, WebSphere, TPC/IP, SAN Storage, Server Virtualization, Cisco network & voice hardware & OS, etc.).
Extensive working knowledge of how to translate business and application development needs into security solution requirements.
Ability to drive and follow through on a number of activities concurrently while taking ownership for specific technical decisions or problem resolutions, as a subject matter expert
Ability to research, recommend and be accountable for alternative actions for problem resolution engaging the appropriate internal or external subject matter experts.
Thorough understanding of Disaster Recovery and contingency planning requirements.
Familiarity with ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
